Adare Manor
Adare Manor is what Americans hope Ireland looks like: a neo-Gothic manor on 840 walled acres above the River Maigue, at the edge of a village of thatched cottages that gets called the prettiest in Ireland. Stay a night, or come for afternoon tea in the Gallery — either way it’s the day you’ll describe slowly when you get home.
Golfers already know what’s coming: the Tom Fazio–redesigned course hosts the 2027 Ryder Cup, and it sits within reach of Ballybunion and Lahinch in the same corner of the country. One pair of my guests loved the place so much their thank-you letter is written on the Manor’s own notepaper — you’ll find it on the reviews page.
Days I actually arrange here
- Afternoon tea in the Gallery
- A walk through Adare’s thatched village
- The 2027 Ryder Cup course — if we can get you on it
- A night in the manor itself, if the trip deserves it
None of this is a package — it’s the raw material. Tell me your dates and your people and I’ll tell you honestly whether this region belongs in your trip.
